Sometimes the only reason we say no is because the cost is unverified. I’ve never bare witness to the assassination of keeping the banks tight. Usually when I go out and spend my money I want to make sure that I’m getting a value. Every red cent and all of the shiny nickels add up to what and how much and if I’m going to come back.
Here are a few places you can catch me when I’m looking for some libations on a stretched dollar and some chills like a Sade listening session.
You really can’t go wrong with the Super Mercado La Jalisciense. Es Fuego. I like to sneak away here from time to time and enjoy an early weekend breakfast. I can’t say that I’m too fond of Coffee all of the time. However, when you take a bite out of a shrimp quesadilla with egg after taking a sip of coffee or espresso, you start to see the world a little different.
The aisleways are filled with everything you need to furnish your long forgotten domestic needs and even more there is usually a dessert at beck and call. What’s even cooler is that it's right next to Dollar Bill store that carries everything you’d be surprised they have on hand.
When I want some dessert with a drink, I like to go to El Asador in southwest. I’ve never come across a tres leches that I didn’t try at least once. It wouldn’t be a lie. I’ve had theirs enough to know it blindfolded. The duality of cheap champagne is in the lies in its usual delusion of grandeur. What I like at El Asador is that I can bring my own whatever I like. Usually wine or champagne seems fitting. Plus that let's me focus on Chef's Luis Garza's delicious offerings.
Next time we take a look at how to spend on a budget we’ll take a look at some of my favorite spots to eat during a business meeting.
